Cece grew up in San Francisco and is always proud to mention that she is 5th generation. She graduated Summa Cum Laude at SFSU and received her J.D. from Hastings Law School. Always reinventing herself, she has also worked as an R.N. at UCSF Hospital in NBICU, served as a medical legal consultant, and worked for the California Supreme Court under Justice Grodin. DescriptioMaureen has been a member of Ross Valley Women’s League since 2009. Her previous RVWL experience includes past Board member and Vice President, Gala Chair, Live and Silent Auction Chair, Corporate Underwriting Chair, and Associate Liaison for several years. Maureen was previously President of Full Circle Programs in Marin, President of Marin Tennis Club, President of her homeowners’ association, and volunteered as a Big Sister. She is currently a Board member of Marin Tennis Club and a member of the San Francisco Symphony League.

Alex Cowley is Membership Chair for 2025. Alex Cowley was the Gala Chair for the 2019 Ross Valley Women’s League. She first joined RVWL 2009-2011 and rejoined in 2018. Alex and her daughter were a part of NCL for 4 years and currently also serve on the board of Pencils for Kids, another non-profit organization that provides classroom supplies, programs, libraries, and schools to children in Myanmar.

Professionally, Alex is a successful realtor with Vanguard Properties and brings extensive local knowledge and expertise to her clients. With 20+ years of professional consultative sales experience in the advertising, integrated media and marketing communications field, she has leveraged her expertise from the business world to provide clients with strong negotiating skills, market insights, marketing expertise and a keen sense of design and aesthetics. She credits her work with iconic brands Real Simple, Cooking Light and Vogue for helping to develop and hone her passion for home and interior design, healthy food and active living. 
A 27-year transplant from NYC, Alex lives in San Anselmo with her husband and raised her twin 23-year-olds as well as a stepson and stepdaughter in Marin. She and her husband Mark love the Marin lifestyle and hike extensively throughout Marin with their two dogs as well as bike, sail at the Corinthian Yacht Club and ski. iption goes here
